Leadership Conferences

Word of Life places a high value on leadership training. Two highlights of your training experience will be the Flashpoint Conference (formerly LDC) and the Checkpoint Conference (formerly MYC). Flashpint helps kick - off your new ministry year and Checkpoint is designed to charge you up in the middle of the year.

Flashpoint Facts:

Time of Year: September
Schedule: Begins early Friday evening and concludes Saturday Afternoon
Location: At one of our local churches
Purpose: To motivate, encourage, and instruct leaders in how to effectively reach young people.
Program: Dynamic preaching, practical seminars, great music, testimonies, skits, icebreakers, good food and ministry resources combine to provide an exciting time of leadership development.
People: Word of Life ministry staff will be in attendance, along with club leaders, and church leaders.

Checkpoint Facts:

Time of Year: January
Schedule: All day Saturday
Location: At one of our local churches
Purpose: To address philosophy, problems, and pressures facing leaders so as to provide real answers and practical ideas for effective ministry to young people.
Program: Encouraging messages, helpful seminars, great music, testimonies, skits, icebreakers, delicious food and ministry resources are the key aspects of the program.
People: Word of Life experiences ministry staff will be on hand to equip and encourage you in your ministry.
