Dominican Republic

Word of Life (Palabra de Vida) began in the Dominican Republic in 1994 with the move and ministry of Kenneth & Valerie Balootje to this second largest island in the Caribbean. Today a missionary team of 10 staff impact thousands of Dominican youth each year with drama productions, visiting sports teams, local church Bible clubs, camping & conferences, baseball ministry, village medical clinics and open air meetings. Annually we see over 3000 young people and adults respond to the outreach and impact of our various ministry teams. Curacao

Word of Life (Palabra di Bida) began in Curacao in 1992 with local church Bible clubs, camping & sporting events designed to reach the island’s youth. A team of local missionaries hold exciting events each year to assist local church ministries. Our Curacao team would welcome your support of missionaries as well as help with events on neighboring islands like Bonaire. Puerto Rico

Word of Life (Palabra de Vida) Puerto Rico is set to launch September 2008 with the arrival of missionaries Miguel & Jeannie Arcila. The Arcilas have served with Word of Life in Argentina for the past 10 years and are now preparing for the move to back home for Jeannie just outside San Juan. Our ministry will begin with Word of Life Bible clubs in local churches then expand to include local events, evangelism, camping and drama ministry. Bahamas

Word of Life Bahamas ministry began in 2001 with the visit of Mark Hall to Nassau. Almost instantly local churches that had been associated with Word of Life ministry embraced the Bible Club program. In just 6 years a number of churches are using Word of Life Club and activities to enhance their youth ministry. In 2004 the first Word of Life Superbowl event was held with 350 teens in attendance. This year 7 Bible Clubs in local churches and island schools, are helping children and teens across the island to grow in their Christian faith.
