Missionary

Isaiah 6:8, “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us? And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Sarah’s prayer and dream from a very young age was to serve the Lord on a foreign mission field. The Lord began to open doors through short term mission trips to the United States, Dominican Republic and Scotland.

As Sarah’s desire to serve in missions continued to grow, she attended Pensacola Christian College in order to prepare for what the Lord had planned for her life. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in missions.

After returning home from college, Sarah began working at the Word of Life office in Bermuda and in 2008 she was accepted as a full-time missionary. From there Sarah became the Financial Secretary at the Word of Life office in the Dominican Republic for a year and a half.

At present, the Lord has brought Sarah back to her own homeland to serve in Bible Clubs and outreach ministry. Through the long journey of bringing her to this point, Sarah has grown in areas she never imagined… even in the area of language, since she now speaks Spanish fluently!

Sarah continues to serve wholeheartedly in the place where God has her now and lives each day to reach young people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
